Type of Information used to achieve objective |
To do this we will monitor the take up of extra-curricula activities. All Key Stage 2 children should take part in at least one of the opportunities offered during the school year. (Not all are after school time). Registers are taken at the clubs, children who do not take part will be asked if there is a specific reason that they do not choose to access clubs. Places will be reserved for children who we need to target because they are not getting involved. There are fewer extra curricular opportunties for children In key Stage 1 and this is something that we are seeking to address. However, through our monitoring we seek to ensure that all children have access to the provision. We have updated the Collective Worship Policy ensuring that some assemblies include aspects that promote positive attitudes towards minority groups. Topics covered will include Global Awareness, Anti Racism, Anti Bullying and People with Additional Needs. The effectiveness of these assemblies will be evaluated at the end of each term by interviewing a group of children from different ethnic and social backgrounds.
