Welcome to Nursery

The Nursery team consists of Mrs Cavanagh as Nursery teacher and Miss Pye as teaching assistant. 

Nursery sessions are offered on a flexible basis to meet the needs of parents. We can offer mornings - 8.45 am to 11.45am, afternoons 12.15pm to 3.10pm or full days 8.45am to 3.10pm. The lunch period can also be included.

Nursery children can attend our Breakfast and After School Clubs, known as The Lion Club. The charges and times for Breakfast Club are 7.30am to 8.45 am at a cost of £4.50 per day and the After School Club is 3.15pm to 5.45pm at a cost of £8.00 per day. School staff run these clubs. 

We can offer hours to meet both a 15 hour and 30 hour entitlement, however included hours are within the standard school day only. Breakfast and After School Clubs are extra.

Our curriculum is planned to meet the high expectations of the Early Years Statutory Framework and the needs of our children. The Nursery and Reception provides children with a stimulating indoor and outdoor environment where they can learn through play. Activities are carefully planned to meet the needs of all children. Those children who stay across morning and afternoon sessions have further planned activities to allow them to build on their previous knowledge and skills.
