World Book Day
This year the children have celebrated World Book Day by participating a range of activities. The teachers have shared their favourite stories with classes throughout the school. We welcomed relatives into school to join in with many of the World Book Day activities, including designing a map showing where the creatures from the book 'Where the wild things are' live. We have also held a number of competitions in school. It was a very exciting week which everyone enjoyed.
The children also enjoy dressing up as their favourite characters, sharing their treasured books and authors with their friends and reading books and their own creations to the younger children.
